I'm just a girl, standing in front of a computer (well, sitting--I could stand, but let's be honest, that's like 10% of the time at best), asking people to read things I wrote.  Only because I can't always say them out loud or find a friend to vent to.  

I'm just like hordes of other women who long for an egalitarian world where everything is fair and hope abounds.  I am hopeful, actually.  But enough about me.  As if there is such a thing for a person who sets up a blog specifically for the purpose of putting her thoughts out into the ether...
